this hotel was a good place to stay

Our stay at Benvenue Motel was a very pleasurable one. The apartment was small , very clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. I remember commenting to my husband that it was what sleeping between marshmallows would be like. The hosts were very friendly,helpful. It was a short walk to the restuarants and taverns. I would recommend this accommodation to my family and friends.

The township of Arrowtown is a very unique and beautiful place and well worth a visit. We ate at the Willow Tavern and found the food to be good value for money and delicious and the staff were very friendly and quick to help out with directions and advice on other destinations around the south island. Township is kept and clean and tidy and any visitor will realise how much pride the locals take in their beautiful little township.

All the local shop keepers are very helpful with information regarding every thing even to bus timetables to god places to visit ,eat etc We loved Arrowtown and its people.

Some work is needed at reception

When our family of five checked into a three bedroom apartment we weren't warned about the nighclub almost directly under our apartment. The music went off after 3 am! Needless to say, with young children this was less than ideal. Additionally, the ability to disable the card locks on each of the bedrooms would have assisted us manage the kids manage the doors. These things aside, it was comfortable for our family.

The walk up the Bluff lookout is a must - a fantastic view.
